
Competitive Program
Thanks for your interest in the AIYS competitive program, "Nassau United FC". Our club offers players at the U9 and older
age groups the opportunity to play at a higher level. The mission of the
program is to provide the number one soccer program in the
state of Florida, where players who have demonstrated the ability and
commitment to play at the highest level can receive the advanced and
competitive playing required to compete successfully statewide, regionally and
potentially nationally.
Competitive Program Goals
Provide quality coaching to help, guide, direct and assist players
to reach their full potential. Provide a training environment that is
age-appropriate, challenging, motivating, enjoyable, encouraging, stimulating
and realistic to the game. Provide an ideal game environment that is age/ability
appropriate against teams that will push the players to their maximum
capabilities, where players receive “fear free” playing time and are encouraged
to keep possession goal to goal. Have
Directors of Coaching who have the education, background and vision to fulfill the
club and program mission statements. Provide a player identification system
that can find the top players and place them in the appropriate level and
program.
Seasons
Competitive Program commitment is for one year and has two seasons:
Tryouts are typicall held in May.
Fall (August – November)
Spring (February – May)
Games/Tournaments
Each team will play 6-8 games per season and 1-2 tournaments that are appropriate
for their level of play.
Tryouts: Nassau United FC competitive teams are formed each year through a tryout
process. If you just moved to the area and are interested in trying out you can contact club.
Uniforms:
All players will be assigned their uniform number for the Competitive program. Please do NOT order your uniform before you have been assigned a number by your Coach and Team Manager.
Please remember that his is a two year cycle uniform. So you want to keep that in mind when deciding on the size for your player.
