What is TOPSoccer?
US Youth Soccer TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program for Soccer) is a community-based training and team placement program for young athletes with disabilities, organized by AIYS volunteers. The program is designed to bring the opportunity of learning and playing soccer to any boy or girl, who has a mental or physical disability. The goal of the program is to enable the thousands of young athletes with disabilities to become valued and successful members of the US Youth Soccer family.
TOPSoccer creates a fun, adaptive environment for players 4 to 21 years old. Programs are geared toward player development rather than competition. Athletes learn skills and have fun!
TOPSoccer is a community-based training program for all athletes with intellectual, emotional, and or physical disabilities. The program strives to provide soccer opportunities for players to develop at their own pace in a safe, fun, and supportive environment.
TOPSoccer creates an opportunity for players with disabilities to be part of the soccer community, where they grow emotionally and physically and where their families, coaches and buddies connect to share in the joy of playing soccer.
Season
The TOPSoccer season will run for six weeks in November 5 through December 17.

What is a Buddy? Besides the athletes themselves, a TOPSoccer Buddy plays the most important role on the team. A Buddy is someone who can commit to all sessions and assist their assigned athletes with completing all of th activities. This is perfect for older recreational, club and high school players. Buddies can earn up to 15 hours of volunteer community service for Florida Bright Futures Scholarships.

Training Session:
Nov 5 - Dec 17: Saturdays ONLY!
Times: 9 am - 11 pm
- Running shoes or cleats
- Shin guards (optional)
- Each player will receive a special AIYS TOPSoccer shirt (at no additional cost)
- A parent/guardian is required to stay for the duration of practice
- Cost: $ 35
- 6 weeks of training and Fun:)
