AIY Soccer exists to promote the development of youth in our community through participation in athletic competition, encourages and promotes ethical and moral behavior, good sportsmanship, and good citizenship.

The rules of football were codified in England by the Football Association in 1863 and the name association football was coined to distinguish the game from the other forms of football played at the time, specifically rugby football. The term soccer originated in England, first appearing in the 1880s as an Oxford "-er" abbreviation of the word "association".

FYSA Code of Ethics

Coerver Logo

Amelia Island Soccer is proud to announce a partnership with Coerver Coaching in the fall season. Coerver will work with the coaches and players every week.

US Soccer has a Passback program that redistributes gently used soccer uniforms across the globe to help underserved communities play the beautiful game. Our latest donation went to Guatemala and Malawi in Africa. This is a great use of old unused uniforms so please drop them off at the field. We have a bin at the field where you can drop the clothes off. Please wash it.
